Troubleshooting – Windows

Step 1.
Uninstall Epic Roller Coasters.

Step 2.
Clear any remaing content of the game:

Press the Windows key and the letter R at the same time.
Type in %APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\B4T Games and press Enter.
Press Ctrl + A together to highlight the files. Once the files are highlighted, press the Delete key.

Step 3.
Clear your temporary files:

Press the Windows key and the letter R at the same time.
Type in %TEMP% and press Enter.
Press Ctrl + A together to highlight the files. Once the files are highlighted, press the Delete key.

Step 4.
Make sure the drivers for your video card, sound card, motherboard and processor are up-to-date. Running 2 cards in SLI or running 2 screens can also cause issues. Deactivate SLI or unplug any additional screens you may be using. If you are overclocking, try running at the stock clock settings.

Step 5.
Make sure that any antivirus or firewall software on your system is disabled for now.

Step 6.
Install Windows Updates:

Click on the Windows Start button and go to All Programs –> Windows Update. In the left pane, click “Check for updates” and if any are found choose “Install updates.”

Step 7.
Make sure you have the latest version of DirectX installed on your system. Download the latest version of DirectX from http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=35.

Step 8.
Install Epic Roller Coasters again!

Step 9.
If the problem persists please check if you can open other similar games.
